2023 Summer Interns: Molly Carraher

Aurora Cooperative 4 months ago

Hello everyone, my name is Molly Carraher. This is my second summer interning with Aurora Coop and I am in Doniphan as an agronomy intern. This fall I will be starting my Junior year at Wayne State, majoring in Agribusiness. I grew up in Spalding, NE where my family owns a cow/calf, row crop, and hay grinding operation.

Summer is just underway, and the Doniphan location is busy. I have just been here a few days and am finding my place in the craziness of the busy season here! I have been helping wherever I can, whether it be deliveries or out scouting fields.

Last summer I was fortunate enough to spend the end of my internship in agronomy. That said, a lot of what I am seeing now is new and I am eager to learn as much as I can. I am alongside some of the best in the industry, so I know that I am in the right place! Going forward I am anxious to get out in the fields and continue to learn throughout the summer. I also look forward to making new relationships both with employees and growers. I can’t wait to see what this summer will hold!
