Aurora Cooperative Announces 2025 Scholarship Recipients

Aurora, NE – April 15, 2025 – Aurora Cooperative is proud to announce the winners of our 2025 scholarship program. This year, ten exceptional students have been selected to receive $1,000 scholarships to support their education in agriculture-related fields. All recipients will be attending public or private post-secondary institutions during the 2025-2026 academic year.

These outstanding students have exhibited impressive academic achievements, active community leadership, and a strong commitment to advancing the field of agriculture and creating meaningful change beyond it. We are honored to support this next generation of ag leaders. The Aurora Cooperative Scholarship is a reflection of our commitment to investing in the future of rural communities and empowering youth to pursue higher education.

The 2025 Aurora Cooperative Scholarship winners are as follows:

  1. Emma Ellis-Sack – Attending University of Nebraska-Lincoln, majoring in Animal Science. Graduate of Aurora High School, daughter of Angelique Sack.
  2. Evan Frink – Attending University of Nebraska-Lincoln, majoring in Agricultural Economics with a minor in Precision Agriculture. Graduate of Adams Central High School, son of Jason & Shannon Frink.
  3. Bailey Hall – Attending Kansas State University, majoring in Veterinary Medicine. Graduate of McCool Junction Public Schools, daughter of Jason & Dana Hall.
  4. Allie Howell – Attending Northeast Community College – Norfolk, majoring in Agribusiness. Graduate of High Plains High School, daughter of Mike & Lisa Howell.
  5. Annalise Jones – Attending Northeast Community College – Norfolk, majoring in Pre-Veterinary Technology. Graduate of Aurora High School, daughter of Lance & Reba Jones.
  6. Candace Lippe – Attending Fort Hays State University, majoring in Agribusiness and Agronomy. Graduate of Clay Center High School, daughter of Adam & Anna Lippe.
  7. Abbie Milton – Attending Northeast Community College – Norfolk, majoring in Agribusiness. Graduate of Friend Public School, daughter of Robert & Jill Milton.
  8. Roe Patton – Attending Doane University, majoring in Agribusiness. Graduate of Aurora High School, son of Suzanne Patton.
  9. Garrett Scholz – Attending University of Nebraska-Lincoln, majoring in Agribusiness. Graduate of Bertrand High School, son of Michael & Sara Scholz.
  10. Ethan Shaw – Attending Fort Hays State University, majoring in Agribusiness. Graduate of Sandy Creek High School, son of Brian & Julie Shaw.
